Day 16: Earthing, Fact or Fiction

A long time ago I found a book about Earthing. The book by Clint Ober discusses the electric charges of humans and the Earth. In a quick summary, by going barefoot, the electrons balance between your body and the ground. With the grounding, the change in energy lessens inflammation that is in your body. It is compared to lightning grounds on houses or grounding outlets in a house.

Clint Ober was a cable TV guy and understood grounding cables and interference. He did a lot of experimentation and testing his hypothesis, but not many in the scientific community or medical community would take him seriously.

I have always been a proponent of living barefoot as much as possible. It just feels better overall. I can say I feel happier when I can be in the grass barefoot vs trapped in a hotel without opportunity to go barefoot on the grass. I have no explanation as to why. To me the theory of earthing makes sense.

Overall, the jury isn’t really out, because I don’t even think they have been selected and fully presented with the evidence. The internet is full of the people backing it and people debunking it. My feeling is, what do you have to lose?

If you aren’t into books, I recommend watching the Earthing movie. Currently offered on Amazon Prime. Watch it with an open mind and tell me what you think?
