So one of the best tools I carry for capturing all sorts of moments is a GoPro. The small size and capabilities make it great for videoing stories. The options, durability, and settings really make it a versatile camera.
Now there are some downsides to having this compact action cam. You don’t have the zoom capabilities. The lens is wide angle and can be made wider with the Lens Mod. So you have to think of your shots in a wide format. Some editing can be used to clean up photos later if used as a camera. Over the years the low light ability has improved, though still somewhat limited. Even with these few limiting factors, I still really enjoy carrying and using this camera everywhere. I use it more often just because I always have it.
With a little bit of editing, photos can come out and be a really nice quality. The whole package can be wrapped up with a phone and you have a pretty small setup for on the go. Just pick you app of choice to edit. I use Snapseed normally, but Lightroom is also excellent.
There will be more to come about GoPros, because I carry it when I have to travel light. This time travel required me to travel my lightest. Sharing what I know about GoPro will be probably be the subject I discuss most over the next month as I am stuck in my hotel room.
Thank you for reading and following along with me on this trip.
